Hate Crime-Ura Criminala

Presedintele Obama a semnat astazi miercuri 28 0ctombrie 2009 o noua lege, controversata, care adauga crimele impotriva unei persoane datorita orientarii sexuale(gay,lesbiene,transexuali etc) la lista crimelor definte ca si „hate crime”.
Toate crimele sunt operate datorita urii. Asa se explica de ce in revolutia morala introdusa de Isus mania ca expresie a urii si ura sunt considerate echivalent al crimei.”Ati auzit ca s-a zis celor din vechime „Sa nu ucizi” si oricine va ucide va cadea sub pedeapsa judecatii. Dar Eu(Isus) va spun ca orisicine se manie pe fratele sau va cadea sub pedeapsa judecatii.” (Matei 5:21-22a). Intoleranta ,neacceptarea diferentelor aproapelui nostru, superioritatea autoindusa datorita perceptiei subiective despre noi insine ne fac sa gestam o ura in noi insine care oricand poate ajunge sa dea nastere unei crime.
Crima din ura(hate crime) motivata religios este posibila atunci cand invataturile radicale de sfintenie crestina cad in mana fariseilor care devin niste activisti sociali si politici fara sa inteleaga harul lui Dumnezeu. Ajung ca si fariseii care o aduc la Isus pe femeia pacatoasa care a comis adulter fara sa-l aduca si pe cel cu care aceasta a pacatuit, fara sa mai spunem ca ei insisi s-au simtit vinovati de aceleasi pacate.
Legea introdusa astazi in 2009 adauga la crimnele din ura(„hate crime”) de pana acum privind rasa,culoare,religie, etinicitate,originea nationala,gen, handicapatii mentali si fizici si crimele motivate de orientarea sexula.
Aceste crime (hate crime) sunt pedepsite mai aspru datorita elementului de contaminare sociala si inducere unei stari explozive in societate cand este cultivata ura sociala. Cultivarea urii prin discursuri care instiga la ura nu este protejata de Primul Amenadment la Constitutie (Constitutia nu protejeaza discursul indeamna la acte de violenta,sau activitati care planifica sau comit acte de violenta.),dar libertatea de vorbire(freedom of speech) nu-i va impiedica pe crestini sa propovaduiasca impotriva pacatului.
Felul nostru de a mustra sau condamna pacatul va trebui sa conduca la dezgust fata de pacat si dragoste pentru morala crestina si pentru omul pacatos si la cultivarea credintei personale in omul care ne asculta. Aceasta transformare devine posibila cand il privim pe cel pacatos ca si o victima si nu ca un privilegiat social si/sau economic. Poate suntem respinsi de societate nu numai pentru ca propovaduim sfintenia intr-o lume care „zace in cel rau”, dusmanoasa celor credinciosi ci si poate datorita atitudinii noastre de superioritate si fariseice pe care o afisam.
In situatia actuala de criza economica si o societate de o diversitate mare, foarte usor se poate cultiva si infaptui crime din ura”hate crime”. Asa se explica de ce reactionez foarte puternic la mesajele primite prin e-mail care arata in mod negativ o anumita categorie sociala sau nationalitate sau religie sau orientare sexuala. Modul cum sunt prezentate aceste mesaje ma face sa cred ca vor duce la ura si nu la o compasiune fata de orice om creat dupa chipul si asemanarea lui Dumnezeu.
Ultimul raport postat pe site-ul FBI, arata ca in anul 2007 din cele 9006 ofense inregistarate de agentiile de politie ,7624 au fost descrise ca si incidente produse de crima din ura.(52,5% rasiale,16,4% religie,16,2 % orientare sexula,14,0% Etnicitate sau nationalitate,0,9% persoane cu handicap

Premiul Nobel pentru Pace acordat lui Obama in 2009

Obama este al treilea presedinte american(in exercitiul functiei) caruia i se acorda premiul nobel pentru pace. Desi i s-a acordat premiul dupa numai 9 luni de presedintie, aceasta este pentru a incuraja initiativele lui Obama pentru reducerea armelor nucleare,diminuarea tensiunii in relatiile cu lumea musulmana si eforturile lui Obama pentru incurajarea diplomatiei si cooperarii in relatiile internationale in locul actiunilor unilaterale. Premiul a fost acordat in urma votului unanim al comitetului .
Provocarile raman in continuare ,Guantanamo bay, razboiul in Irak si Afganistan,Israelul si Palestina,Iran.

De ce il urasc pe Obama-Why I hate Obama

Este titlul unei predici tinute de Pastorul Steven L Anderson, aici la noi in Arizona . Este pastorul unei biserici baptiste „Faithful Word Baptist Church”, din orasul Tempe.
In mesajul video puteti auzi cum el spune „M-am rugat pentru moartea lui Obama”. El afirma: „il urasc pe Obama ca persoana, nu pentru ceea ce crede presedintele” . Oamenii din biserica lui purtau un tricou la o manifestare cu sloganul „Ura nu este o crima”. Acesti credinciosi nu sunt („Faithful (to) Word”) loailai „Cuvantului”, ei nu l-au citit pe apostolul iubiririi Ioan „Oricine uraste pe fratele sau este un ucigas si stiti ca nici un ucigas n-are viata vesnica ramanand in el”(1 Ioan 3:15).

„God of our weary years, God of our silent tears, thou, who has brought us thus far along the way, thou, who has by thy might led us into the light, keep us forever in the path we pray, lest our feet stray from the places, our God, where we met thee, lest our hearts drunk with the wine of the world, we forget thee.

Cu mâinile tale puternice şi  inima ta  iubitoare, ajuta-ne apoi, acum, Doamne, de a lucra pentru acea zi, când naţiunile nu vor ridica sabia împotriva  altei naţiuni, cand tancurile vor fi transformate în tractoare, când fiecare om şi fiecare femeie  va putea sa stea sub via lui sau smochinul sau in  deplină siguranţă şi fara sa le  fie frică, atunci când justiţia se va rostogolii in  jos ca apele şi neprihănirea ca un puternic curent.

Doamne, în memoria tuturor sfinţilor care se odihnesc de munca lor, şi în bucuria unui  nou început, te  rugam sa ne ajuti sa lucram pentru acea zi , atunci când negru nu va fi solicitat pentru a merge în spate, în situatia în care  maroniul sa  poata  sa stea prin preajma … când galben va fi în pârg … când omul roşu sa  poate  avea perspectivă, omule, şi, atunci când alb va accepta ceea ce este drept. Toţi cei care  au dragoste pentru  justiţie şi îndurare spun Amin.

Rugaciunea lui Rick Warren

Chiar daca vrem sa sustinem „Adevarul” acest lucru nu trebuie sa ne permita sa fim intoleranti sau excluisivi in viata publica.  Trebuie sa luptam sa dovedim cu viata si apoi cu cuvintele „Adevarul”. Asta este ceea ce lipseste evanghelicilor si astazi. Am avut prea multe exemple de „vedete evanghelice „care au esuat. NU-i vom castiga pe oameni pentru Hristos printr-o rugaciune exclusiva. Rick Warren s-a dovedit pana acum un om integru. A incercat prin aceasta rugaciune  sa aplice principiul”Cu iudeii m-am facut ca un iudeu…. am fost slab cu cei slabi..m-am facut tuturor totul ca oricum sa mantuiesc pe unii din ei.” 

Rugaciunea lui Warren este cladita pe tiparul rugaciunii „Tatal nostru” aplicata la nivel national si potrivita cu ocazia cu care a fost rostita. Am ascultat rugaciunea  si am fost bucuros sa aud ca incheie cu rugaciunea „Tatal nostru”

Let us pray.

Almighty God, our Father, everything we see and everything we can’t see exists because of you alone. It all comes from you. It all belongs to you. It all exists for your glory.

History is your story. The Scripture tells us, “Hear O Israel, the Lord is our God. The Lord is One.” And you are the compassionate and merciful one. And you are loving to everyone you have made.

Now, today, we rejoice not only in America’s peaceful transfer of power for the 44th time.  10 ways to pray for Obama

 

Whether you voted for Obama or not, you need to pray for him. Here are 10 ways I plan to intercede for him regularly:

1. Pray for Obama’s protection. We already know that some weird, neo-Nazi fanatics in Tennessee plotted to kill Sen. Obama during his campaign. Let’s pray that racist hatred is not allowed to spread. Let’s cancel every assassin’s bullet in the name of Jesus. May civility triumph over bigotry.

2. Cover his wife and daughters in prayer. It is not easy to live under constant media scrutiny. Pray for Obama’s wife, Michelle, and their two daughters, Malia and Natasha, as they face invasive cameras, nosy reporters, maniacal fans and dangerous enemies. Obama is not only a politician but also a husband and a father.

3. Pray that Obama will govern with God’s wisdom. God rewarded Solomon because he asked for wisdom instead of wealth, long life or vengeance on his enemies (see 1 Kings 3:11-12). Pray that Obama will order his priorities like that. Despite Solomon’s tragic character flaws, his legacy was wisdom. We can ask God to give our president the same grace.

4. Ask God to keep our president humble. Many great American leaders became corrupt after they moved to Washington. The fatal attraction of fame, wealth and power proved irresistible. The only thing that will guard a man or woman from this pitfall is humility. May God deliver President Obama from the curse of pride.

5. Pray for wise and righteous advisers to surround him. Godly leaders cannot do their job alone. Even the best leaders have failed because they trusted the wrong people. Pray that Obama will not select his counselors based on party, race, pedigree or political cronyism but on godly character and proven wisdom. Pray also that he will not allow secret traitors into his inner circle.

6. Ask for the spirit of reconciliation. Some segments of our deeply divided society want nothing to do with Obama now that he has won the presidency. Even some Christians will be tempted to harbor resentment and nurse political grudges throughout his term in office. Pray that God will grant forgiveness and healing so that leaders on all political levels can have constructive dialogue.

7. Pray that Obama will adopt pro-life convictions. Many politicians have changed their views on key issues while in office. In the 1800s some leaders who favored slavery later denounced it. In the 1950s some who opposed racial integration later became champions of it. Even though Obama won approval from many voters because he sanctions abortion, God could soften and change his heart.

8. Bind all evil forces assigned to manipulate our president. The specter of Islamic terrorism looms over the United States, and dark forces are ready to infiltrate. Our only hope lies in prayer to the God who is able to expose and outwit the schemes of the wicked. This is truly a time for spiritual warfare, and intercessors must not come off the wall in this hour! Pray that no foreign government, terrorist organization or demonic principality will use Obama as a tool. We must stand strong against the spirit of antichrist that promotes dictatorship, persecution of Christians and hostility toward Israel.

9. Pray that Obama’s door will remain open to the church. The loudest voices of secular culture—from Bill Maher in Hollywood to atheists in academia—would be happy if religion were removed from public life. Pray that Obama, who claims to have a personal faith in Jesus Christ, will unapologetically welcome Christian leaders into his company and seek their counsel. And pray that false religious leaders (who claim to know Christ but deny His power) will not have his ear.

10. Pray that our nation will enjoy God’s peace and blessing during the Obama administration. The apostle Paul instructed early believers to pray for all in authority „so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity” (1 Tim. 2:2, NASB). God’s will is for America to experience peace and prosperity so that we can continue to export the gospel to the nations. This must happen whether a Democrat or a Republican is in the White House. As we cry out for God’s mercy on our wayward nation, pray that He will allow us to be a light to the world as we finance global missions, feed and heal the world’s poor and share Christ’s love at home and abroad.
